1:50 clock, wake, 4:30 clock, wake - stupid jet lag! Well, if you're awake before, may as well have the game Germany - Serbia watch on ESPN. Stupid game!
about half past eight, we continue by bus to Union Square and from there to make breakfast our first little walk to Mission Street to at Denny's. Fills you up! From here we walk towards the Transamerica Pyramid and talk briefly with an American about the game of the Germans. It then goes to Chinatown and we Walk for the first time the hills of San Francisco. With the Cable Car it works then to Lombard Street, where we enjoy the cars that beat the "winding roads of the world." Then it goes on, the cable cars hanging, we reach the area near Fisherman's Wharf.
The first look at the Golden Gate Bridge, there's still going out later. First, we stroll a bit about the various piers, watch the sea lions sunbathe and stroll to the souvenir shops. Then it's off to the Blazing Saddles, where we will rent bikes to ride across the Golden Gate Bridge and Sausalito . The tour we like excellent and we are running from postcard to postcard. Without hills but here goes nothing! On the bridge, we also are also a few photo stops and go after to Sausalito, where we allow ourselves to Starbucks Frappuccinos. Then it's back on the ferry to San Francisco. There we again a little stroll through Fisherman's Wharf Clam Chowder and eat a Musschelsuppe in sourdough bread. When it is evening now slowly and now the wind is blowing strong unpleasant we decide by cable car and bus drive back to the hotel and gather strength for our visit to Alcatraz the next day!
