This morning the fog is back from LA! Nevertheless, we consider how we should go north. First we go again but to downtown SLO to us there in the dress Unishop. Then it's on the 101 north to consider whether we still, we should seek the coast or along Highway 101 in the rear. To Big Sur, we came not yesterday, but then again coast! Somehow, the last time you saw the street but different, a little late we notice that we have missed the exit. About 64, we pass to Highway One and at some point where we wanted to be. After several slow miles are all front of us turned onto Scenic Views or been overtaken by us. Once the car has no cruise control everything, you go back in Germany ... On the winding road we have a long free ride and thus we can here a little quicker through - fun! When we arrive in Big Sur, we try to find the famous Hurricane Point noted, but only in Caramel by the Sea, it is probably nothing more with it! Dat has indeed been worth the long journey times right! The piece on the coast is nice, but it has not knocked us so as we expected had. Today of course it was still foggy, on the other hand, there was therefore different views and it was not totally free! In Monterey we look for a parking lot, after we have decided not to take the 17-Mile Drive because the weather is not really a hit. In Monterey, the sun is finally here and we resolve to the Monterey Bay Aquarium to see. Very interesting and well worth its admission. Here we see an incredible number of species of fish, jellyfish, and of course the bizarre California sea otters, which are somehow the main attraction of the aquarium. ... A few penguins and sharks there but still. The hunger drives us then back to Cannery Row where we come into a bar. Oh yes, in the gift shop I am kept by the seller for one of the Jonas Brothers. I do not like right off, there is not anyway! The road to Half Moon Bay is now the most beautiful part of the route to the sea. Here it was, as we had imagined. Secluded beaches, romantic coves and the sunset are embellished the way! On the last night we went again to the supermarket to get back to annoy you that better in the U.S., even in small places, the choice is as at home with us! Tomorrow we will then enjoy a little bit around and look at the parade on the Fourth of July!
